Lake Vestvannet

Vestvannet is a tail of the Glomma River that stretches from the bridge at Trøsken and down towards Eidet. A one hundred year old lumber tunnel is situated at the mouth of Glomma. The trail stretches for more than 32 kilometres and offers a variety of sights along the way. You pass by the childhood home of the Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen, the cosy Old Town in Fredrikstad and old sawmills.
