At 900 metres above sea level, in the Gausta area with a beautiful view to Gaustatoppen Mountain, you will find Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell. The hotel has 97 rooms, a recreation centre, a pleasant dining room, bar and large function room with live music six days a week. There is also a playroom and billiards/TV room.
1,000 metres above sea level, right on the threshold of the Hardangervidda National Park, lies Skinnarbu Høyfjellshotell. The hotel has 88 rooms, a swimming pool, conference facilities, a bar and a restaurant which is famed for its delicious home cooking based on local traditions.

Rjukan Gjestegård and Rjukan Gjestehus
Both Rjukan Gjestegård and Rjukan Gjestehus are situated in the centre of Rjukan, and have rooms of various size and standard.
This hostel is located in the Vemork Bridge area, and is run by climbers for climbers. The hostel is surrounded by 46 waterfalls within a short walking distance. Climb Inn has 6 rooms for teams of 3 to 10 climbers. High standard, drying room for wet gear, a library, bar with all rights, facilities needed for multimedia presentations and free wireless Internet access.
This intimate and cosy hostel has 41 rooms, lounges with open fireplaces, a TV lounge, conference room for 50 people and ski hire (also children's sledges). Rjukan Fjellstue is fully licensed. You will find Rjukan Fjellstue 11 kilometres west of Rjukan town centre.
The cabins are situated close to the centre of Rjukan. Rjukan Hytteby offers 10 cabins which are copies of the first workers' houses built in Rjukan during the town's industrialisation at the beginning of the 20th century. Each cabin is equipped for 5 persons.

Kalhovd Tourist Cabin
You will find Kalhovd Tourist Cabin 1,100 metres above sea level, on the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau. This staffed lodge can offer 85 beds in rooms sleeping 2 - 4 people. Shower/toilet in the corridors. Sauna. Licensed for selling beer and wine. Kiosk. Serving of breakfast. À la carte during daytime and dinner in the evening.
Mårbu Tourist Cabin
Mårbu is idyllically situated at the northern end of Lake Mårvann, on the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau. Mårbu is staffed during the summer and is ideal for families. The cabin has 46 beds.
The Helberghytta Cabin
This cabin lies 1,100 metres above sea level, at the gateway to the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau. The cabin is self-served and you will need a key to enter.
Stordalsbu is situated in Stordalen on Hardangervidda, with a great view over the many lakes in the area. Please note that Stordalsbu is closed from 19 August to 1 October due to reindeer hunting. The cabin is self-served and you will need a key to enter.
This cabin was built in 1893 and has the most fantastic views from the top of Gaustatoppen Mountain at a height of 1,850 metres. The cabin was built from natural rock from the summit itself and was extended and refurbished inside a short while ago. Gaustatoppen Turisthytte has 9 beds for hire and must be booked in advance.
At 1,230 metres above sea level, on the southeast side of Lake Lufsjå you will find Lufsjå - a good startingpoint for exploring the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau. There are 2 cabins with a total of 16 beds. Good standard, self-served and you need a key to enter.
This was DNT's first lodge. The lodge is a principal cultural monument in the Vestfjorddalen Valley, and is located near the Rjukan Falls Gorge. Krokan Turisthytte lets out two cosy, four-bunk log cabins.
