Vealie to Versjøen

This hike starts at Vealie, where the road crosses the river Eitra. From there the trail follows the Eitra river to where the terrain flattens out. Continue in this relatively easy hiking terrain, and you will be able to see Kyrkjetjørne pond on your right hand side, with Lake Versjø behind it. There is an old stone cabin here, which is well worth a look. From here, the trail goes further on the left hand side of Versjø to Venebotn. This trail is mostly easy and goes through open terrain. The road is a toll road.

Starting in Lauvdalen by the fish licence box, reacheable via a toll road, this route follows the well-trodden trail to the first plateau. The trail will partially disappear, but follow the terrain further on. Keep in mind that it can be a bit difficult to see the trail during the last stage of the hike, and that some climbing is necessary.
