Getting to Gol in Hallingdal and around

Gol is located centrally in Hallingdal, and is one of the most important traffic junctions in Eastern Norway.

Connected to the main roads fv. 7, rv. 7, fv. 52, fv. 50 and fv. 51/E16, it can be said that "all roads lead to Gol".

There are good bus and train connections locally to Nesbyen, Hemsedal, Ål and Geilo. There are daily bus connections to Fagernes, Gjøvik and Lillehammer.

There are express busses to Hønefoss, Drammen, Oslo, Sogndal, Førde, Florø and Bergen as well.

The train between Oslo and Bergen stops at Gol. For timetables and booking, please contact the Norwegian State Railways (NSB).
