Haraldsgaten in the centre of Haugesund has many niche boutiques selling clothing and home decoration items, as well as shops and cafés.

Local food

Salmon is a product that Norwegians are proud of, and one of the most dedicated producers of the tasteful fish is situated on Karmøy, thus the name - Karmøy Laks. Their products are made using an old traditional curing method, and have a unique taste you cannot find anywhere else.

Åkrafjordtunet in Etne is not just an ordinary grocery store, the shop offers an abundance of quality products, not least the meat and sausages supplied by Lundal & Sønner. Lundal's production plant for cured and smoked meats is adjacent to the premises and a section of the shop functions as their factory outlet.
