Getting to Voss and around

It is easy to get to Voss by car, train and bus. Voss is located approximately 100 kilometres from Bergen, along the E16 and rv. 13 in Western Norway.

Voss lies approximately 100 kilometres east of Bergen, between the Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord.

It is relatively easy to get to Voss by car, train and bus. The road E16 (the main route between Bergen and Oslo) and the inland road rv. 13 go through Voss.

The town is also a central stop along the Bergen Railway between Oslo and Bergen and a stop for express bus services and local services in the wider region.

By train

Voss is a central stop on the Bergen Railway between Oslo and Bergen.

The Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) loops its way from Myrdal to Flåm 865 metres below, nestled in the innermost corner of the Aurlandfjord.
