If you are looking for something unique, visit artist Turid Grov's glassworks in the pedestrian street in Sandnessjøen, where you will find a broad choice of glass art and jewellery.

Hildur's Herb Garden

Don't miss Northern Norway's only herb garden, situated only about six kilometers outside Brønnøysund. With more than 200 plants, roses and perennials, the garden is a gorgeous sight offering peace of mind. The farm shop, "Løpstikka", stocks products such as herbs, spices, jellies, honey and cheese, most of which are produced on the farm.

Ellens Shop

Situated at Meierisenteret in Brønnøysund, Ellens Butikk ("Ellen's Shop") features colourful artwork and handicrafts, textiles and decorative items. The shop also sells yarns, fabrics, embroidery patterns and accessories.

Glass art at Solheimsvolden

Behind Rødøy church lies Solheimsvolden, once inhabited by the verger. The farm has been lovingly restored by Bodil and Reidar Hansen, who today have a gallery-workshop here.

The Arctic Circle Centre

The Arctic Circle Centre is situated on Saltfjellet mountain at 670 meters altitude, along Highway E6. A marble gate and several standing stones inform the travelers that they are crossing the Arctic Circle and entering the land of the midnight sun. The Arctic Circle Centre comprises a restaurant, a souvenir shop and cinema.
