If you are planning to stay in a tent, it is best to bring your own as very few sites have tents for hire.
Opening times are normally from 7 am to 11 pm. The larger campsites tend to have someone on duty 24 hours a day.
As a rule, a camping card is not obligatory in Norway, but may be compulsary for some campsites. If so, the camping card to use is Camping Key Europe, which also offers a range of benefits to cardholders.
