Norway. Your Way - meet the explorers

After a competition held in January 2011, five lucky adventurers were chosen to go on a ten day trip through Norway. You can meet them here.

Day 1 - Winter action in Lillehammer

On the first day of our trip we took the train to Lillehammer to experience some wintry fun. Tobogganing and bobrafting made the adrenaline pump.

Day 2 - Snowboard and sightseeing in Oslo

The second day we went to Oslo and enjoyed seeing one of the best snowboarding competitions, the Oakley Arctic Challenge.

Day 3 - Skiing and wellness in Norefjell

Norefjell is a perfect place for relaxation. Our explorers get to try cross-country skiing, and end their day in the outdoor jaccuzzi.

Day 4 - Flåm and the fjords

The explorers went by bus to Fjord Norway, where beautiful scenery awaited them. In the village of Flåm, they got a taste for the local beer.

Day 5 - Voss and Bergen

Our brave explorers hit the slopes in Voss. As one of the most snow secure skiing resorts in Norway, this is not the worst place to start learning.

Day 6 - Fishing in Ålesund

In Ålesund, we got to go fishing. In sunny weather and calm sea, we tried our luck.

Day 7 - Dog sledding in Tromsø

In Tromsø, we learned all about the polar expeditions. Dog sledding and the Polar Museum was on the agenda.

Day 8 - Storm at the North Cape

Seeing the North Cape from the sea is just as impressive as standing on the top. Due to heavy storm this day became quite different than expected.

Day 9 - Scooter safari and northern lights in Alta

The last day of the trip in Norway could not have ended any better. Spectacular northern lights waved goodbye to our explorers.
