Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje and Katarina Barruk, through collaboration and mutual inspiration, have created Avant Joik - a concert combining traditional Sámi joik with vocal and electronic experiments. Together with video artist Matti Aikio, they have created a northern atmosphere, with wild and powerful nature lurking below the surface.
