Østlandsutstillingen

*Østlandsutstillingen is the largest of Norway's five regional exhibitions. It is artist-run and has existed for over 45 years. In 2025, it will open at Nitja Centre for Contemporary Art, before going on tour to Oplandia Centre for Contemporary Art and Galleri Fjordheim.
The works in the show are selected through an open call by a peer jury consisting of professional artists and curators from Eastern Norway's artist organizations and the institutions that host the exhibition. In Østlandsutstillingen, the audience will encounter a wide range of expressions, materials, ideas, and stories that represent what is happening now in the art scene.
In recent years, Østlandsutstillingen has undergone extensive development, which has led to increased popularity and around 900 applications each year. Østlandsutstillingen attracts both young and newly educated artists who use the exhibition to start off their careers, as well as established artists, both Norwegian and international.
During the exhibition period, there will be arranged artist talks, tours, workshops, and more.
