Welcome to an interactive moving soundscape at Kunsthall Trondheim. ØYA ~ lydstrømmer focuses on tactile and visual encounters with sound, which makes it especially accessible for people with impaired hearing.

Inspired by the unique sound and texture of sand and stones, the performers explore the independence and interdependence of each particle and its collective movement pattern through music and dance improvisation. Navigating between physical and sonic landscapes, the performers enter a trialogue with the material, each other and the audience. The spectators are invited to participate with their own exploration of sound and movement.
