The traditional lighting of the big Advent candles up on Mount Fløyen will take place on each of the four Sundays leading up to Christmas. Take the Fløibanen funicular up to Mount Fløyen during the run-up to Christmas and get that pre-Christmas spirit.

Throughout December you can visit the beautiful Christmas forest (just behind the restaurant). The forest consists of 24 trees with environmentally friendly decorations made by creative children from schools and kindergartens in Bergen. 

Before and after the candle lighting, let the kids have fun at the playground, go for a walk or and say hello to the goats. And don't forget to visit Fløistuen cafe or Skomakerstuen for delicious pastries and something warm to drink.
