Annjo Greenall – language-crow, song translator, songwriter and vocalist – presents a collection of self-written songs with lyrics in Trøndish. The lyrics deal with those of us who are 'in the middle of life': Who are we, what do we do, where do we go, and what clothes should we absolutely no longer take our bodies out into public space in?
It offers bitter, burlesque outpourings about life's various forms of difficulty as well as commodity, nostalgic mood sketches from a time that was suddenly just lived. Musically, the repertoire is rooted in a music tradition while playing a wide range of genres, from bossa nova and blues to tango and ballads. It is all stitched together beautifully by Kathrine Rømmen on guitar and banjo, Kriss Stemland on guitar and Kjetil Sandnes on bass.
