Barokkfest
Barokkfest is one of Scandinavia’s leading festivals for classical music, taking place annually at the end of January and beginning of February. The festival presents exceptional musical performances in some of Trondheim’s most historically rich and beautiful venues – Nidaros Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Freemasons’ Hall. The program highlights world-class artists, focusing on opera and sacred music repertoire.

SPOR
Running concurrently with Barokkfest is its sister festival, SPOR – a celebration of intellectual history and translated literature. SPOR explores the literary legacy of antiquity and engages with contemporary issues through original and thought-provoking perspectives.
