Bendik Hofseth is an artist, singer, saxophone player, songwriter, teacher and producer. He started his career in the late 70s, as part of the community associated with the legendary club Club 7 in Oslo. In 1987 he was invited to play with Steps Aehad, as the successor of Michael Brecker. He lived in NYC for six years, and toured around the world with Steps and other constellations. He also did several recordings, both as a jazz soloist and with big bands and symphony orchestras.
Hofseth most recent release is the critically acclaimed album Atonement, which forms the basis for his performance at Oslo Jazz Festival.
