Benefit Concerts at the Christmas Market in Trondheim
Every day at 5:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market invites you to enjoy atmospheric benefit concerts – a warm and meaningful tradition during the holiday season. The concerts support The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas campaign, where all contributions go toward their important work in Trondheim. The Salvation Army supports people in vulnerable life situations through food assistance, inclusion programs, community support, and practical help. By enjoying the music and making a donation, you help make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most.

09.12 – Mental Band
On Tuesday, December 9, the audience will enjoy Mental Band, a Trondheim-based group that has performed acoustically since their fifth album, Mysterium (2019). They followed with their sixth album, Elementer, in 2021, and in December 2024 released their seventh and latest album, Ekte intelligens. During this year’s benefit concert, Mental Band will perform songs from their entire catalog as well as some brand-new material. The performance promises stories that take the audience between dream and waking states, reflecting on the chaotic world we live in while still holding on to hope and the good in life.
