A Human Position follows the couple Asta, a journalist, and Live, a furniture maker. While Asta tries to go back to her old job in a local newspaper, she stumbles upon a case about an asylum seeker being evicted after living in Norway for ten years. This case ends up altering her understanding of who she is and what her life is.
