Welcome to the exhibition at the Gallery at Rotvoll Kunstnerkollektiv!
Bite Liten Regnbue: new quilts
Kari Greenberg, MFA
Public event
Sunday, March 23, 12-2 PM
Address:
Rotvoll Kunsterkollektiv
Architect Ebbells veg 22
7053 Ranheim
Extra viewing time available on request: karigreenberg@icloud.com during the period 09.03-30.03.2025
Kari Greenberg MFA is a Trondheim-based artist who is a trained painter, but who now works with textiles, specifically quilting. Her love of color, pattern, and texture is expressed in this exhibition, which is now on display at RKK from March 9-30.
In quilting, nothing goes to waste. No leftover colorful fabrics are forgotten. The quilts have their own history, and the fabric scraps used to create the works in this exhibition represent all the quilts Greenberg has made, both in material form and in memory.
Rainbows are nature's cinematic reminder that we have overcome our own storms. For Greenberg, the time-consuming process of making a quilt is a way of sewing together pieces of the past, while also manifesting hope for a better future.

Rotvoll Artist Collective is home to over 80 professional artists with backgrounds in visual art, music and performing arts. Throughout the year, these artists are active in a number of arenas - but sometimes they can also be experienced at Rotvoll through the Kunstfest Rotvoll festival, the Rotvoll Kunstscene exhibition series and the sound art series This Sonic Planet.
