Black Cat, White Cat (1998)

Black Cat, White Cat is a romantic comedy the likes of which you have rarely seen. Not only is the film about a romantic relationship between two young people, but most of all it is incredibly funny. Absurd humor and a modernist style make this one of the most enjoyable films I've seen. It came out in 1998 as director Emir Kusturica's "difficult" second film after the huge success Underground, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1995.The music used in the film is in itself good enough reason to watch it. The plan was earlier for Black Cat, White Cat to be a documentary about gypsy music, but instead turned into a wonderfully joyful romantic and humorous film. The music makes you want to dance through almost the entire movie screening!2h4mSerbian speech, Norwegian textBECOME A MEMBER OF THE TRONDHEIM FILM CLUBTo be able to see films in Trondheim Filmklubb, you must have a membership card.
