Blood Command – Live 2024
The death pop kings from Bergen and now also Australia have kept it going since 2008 with deadly death pop and soaring karate kicks. Always dressed in three stripes and always prepared for rock shock. Join the cult.
Blood Command, based in Bergen, have been active since 2009 and have released five albums and several EPs. Their musical foundation consists of a fusion of punk and hardcore, seasoned with pop melodies, without being limited by conventions. Their style is often described as "death pop". The critics have praised their music both nationally and internationally, and the band has an impressive seven singles that have found their way onto NRK P3's playlists.
Blood Command has toured regularly in Norway and Europe, either as headliner or as support for renowned bands such as Kvelertak, Biffy Clyro, Protest The Hero and Comeback Kid. They have also participated in major international festivals such as Roskilde (Denmark), Reeperbahn Festival (Germany) and Download (Great Britain), as well as Norwegian festivals such as Øyafestivalen, Pstereofestivalen, Bergenfest, Trondheim Calling, By:Larm, Hovefestivalen and Quart. Between autumn 2018 and spring 2020, the band carried out four tours in Europe and the UK, one in Norway, in addition to a number of club gigs and festival performances nationally. Their international fan base is constantly growing, both globally and of course in their home country.
In 2022, Blood Command has collaborated with Kvelertak, participated in several festivals, carried out a headline tour in Europe in September and a one-week mini-tour in Norway in October. In addition, we did a festival tour in Australia in December. In 2023 we released the album "World Domination" to rave reviews and did headline tours in Norway and Europe.
The band has also garnered recognition for their work, with the Album of the Year award from Bergens Tidende in 2017 for "Cult Drugs". They were P3 Gull-nominated in 2012 for the hit of the year with "High Five For Life" and Spelemannsnominet in rock in 2010 for "Ghostlocks". In 2019, the EP "Return Of The Arsonist" was praised on several best-of-the-year lists in leading music magazines in Europe. Their latest album, "World Domination", was released on September 29, 2023, and received rave reviews.
