Blue Aspic is known for swinging and extremely danceable blues/soul/rock that lifts the mood to the sky. The band is from Fosen in Trøndelag and consists of 7 members, including a wireless string of three.
The band had their first gig in March 2007 and since then have gained many fans around the country after visiting a number of clubs and festivals. They have built up a solid live reputation and have also been the backing band for touring American artists such as Angela Brown and Earl Thomas.
Blue Aspic plays music by artists such as Roomfull of Blues, Delbert McClinton, The Mannish boys, Tower of Power, John Mayer, Little Milton, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, William Clarke, Albert Collins, etc.
