Boat trip with King Charles XII to Fredriksten Fortress

The year is 1718. King Charles XII of Sweden is yet again planning an attack of the fortress Fredriktsen in Fredrikshald (Halden).

Two years earlier - in 1716 - he had to turn around. The fleet with his supplies was beaten and the city was set in fire by its own citizens. But this time the king has a different strategy...

Join in on a guided tour from Strömstad harbour, along the path of king Charles' attempt to ingest the fortress Fredriksten. In Halden harbour a uniformed guide will take on the last stage - up to the fortress - where the king was put to rest by a Norwegian. Or was it a Swede who, in dispare, shot his own king...?
