Bomsori

Bomsori is already a superstar in her native South Korea, and is currently becoming one of the most sought after artists in the world. The recipient of awards in ten international competitions, she has signed with the great classical recording company Deutsche Grammophon and has performed worldwide with major conductors including Fabio Luisi, Jaap van Zweden and Andrey Boreyko.

Bomsori's technical mastery enables her to express every nuance from the grandiose and dramatic to the subtle and lyrical.

Her programme in Troldsalen with pianist Julia Okruashvili includes Debussy's Violin Sonata and works by two nineteenth century composers, themselves violin virtuosos: Norwegian Ole Bull and Polish Henryk Wieniawski, both favourably compared in their lifetimes with Niccolò Paganini.
