Christmas wouldn’t be the same without our troubadour in the lavvu. Every day during the Christmas Market, the lavvu fills with warm tones, cozy atmosphere, and true holiday magic as our returning campfire troubadours gather by the flames. This tradition has become one of the market’s most beloved experiences, where visitors can relax, enjoy something warm to drink, and let the music create Christmas spirit in the heart of the city. Once again this year, you can enjoy the same five talented artists who, in previous seasons, have created memorable musical moments and a sense of togetherness in the lavvu: Stig Nergård, Katrine Rømmen, Ganges Nordal, Ragnhild Risnes, and Vegard Tingstad.

Ragnhild Risnes

Ragnhild Risnes is an actress and singer-songwriter who is excited to return to the lavvu. She writes songs in the Trøndersk dialect and offers warm humor, heartfelt lyrics, and melodies that bring true Christmas atmosphere. With her guitar, she performs a mix of original songs and familiar favorites, blending storytelling, clever guitar work, and catchy refrains — inspired by everything from news headlines and grandmothers to love and life’s small everyday moments. She believes that the big things are often found in the small ones, and that humor is essential to seeing the world clearly. Guests can look forward to a warm and atmospheric musical experience in the lavvu.
