Building Instrument's fourth album "Månen, Armadillo" is out!

Building Instrument is back with their fourth album on Hubro, "Månen, Armadillo", a release that embraces both the wild, the fragile and the beautifully fleeting. Månen, Armadillo cannot be placed in one genre but shows the trio's open and playful approach to music. 

The Bergen-based trio has existed for almost 20 years and their music consists of a mixture of free improvisations and elements composed by the three musicians. The result is a homemade, musical patchwork that mixes elements from electronica, folk music, improvisation and contemporary classical music. 

Since their debut album "Building Instrument" in 2014, the trio has constantly explored new musical directions, while still managing to preserve their unique expression.
