With their charm, musicality and "the eternal words", December favorites Bremnes and Haukaas Mittet are once again ready to meet their audience over mountains and hills, where we build and live from the "dark ages" to the south.

The suitcase is filled with magical winter light, Trygve Hoff's classic Christmas hymn, newly written Christmas carols, dompapp and Christmas cookies. The popular artists Lars Bremnes and Maria Haukaas Mittet are once again ready to fill the pre-Christmas period with great experiences for an ever-growing audience. As in the previous three years, they start at home in the north and will visit 19 cities, before traditionally ending in Moss.
Based on their critically acclaimed Christmas album from 2021, they take the audience on a musical journey through the diversity of Christmas - from the sacred to the commercial, from partying to loneliness. They also bring with them the brand new single "Den tia nå på året".
- Last year I wrote the song “Den tia nå på årte” after realizing that changes at Christmas might be a little tougher for me than I had thought. It is quite natural that when children grow up and have their own families, or that family relationships change, that Christmas traditions also have to change. And with that comes some unexpected feelings. This is exactly what I have tried to put down on paper, says Lars Bremnes. Maria Haukaas Mittet adds:
- It was so nice to sing this on the Christmas tour last year, where so many people came up to us after the concerts and said that they recognized each other, and asked where they could find the song. So now we have been in the studio, and in November it will be released.
A journey through the diversity of Christmas
“Ringe inn” is inspired by the church bells that ring at Christmas and the wish that everyone should be welcome in a place when the world is at its darkest and brightest at the same time. In preparation for this year's Christmas tour, the couple has received expert help from two Ukrainian refugees who have refined the pronunciation of "Shchedryk", which is the original title of the song known internationally as "Carol of the Bells". Throughout the concert, the audience meets the dompapen who does not like Christmas carols, to the Jesus child in a parking garage. The songs combine newly written material with classic Christmas carols and carols, and are performed with a bright and silver-sounding version of the classic "Kimer i klokker".
