CERAMICS EXHIBITION

Amphora design - Marianne Fjærvik

and ORIENTAL CHRISTMAS MARKET

Saturdays and Sundays from 18 November to 23 December, at 13-17.

Marianne Fjærvik has delighted many around the country with her ceramics. Perhaps you have seen her cups and vases, light boats, sculptures and light ladies during Olavsfestdager or at other markets.

Already at the age of 14, she made a drawing of her future as a ceramicist - a large van with a sign on the roof that read: Mariannes keramik. After 20 years as a burnt-out preschool teacher, she finally grasped the ceramics dream and has since traveled the country and coast with her ceramic treasures.

Clay is medicine for thoughts spinning and restlessness, says Marianne. Through it, she finds a meditative calm, centering and joy that spreads through her colorful creations.

The sales exhibition is open EVERY SATURDAY and SUNDAY at 13-17 until Saturday 23 December - also with a treasure chest of an oriental Christmas market:

Christmas gifts in all price ranges -

Hand painted Christmas baubles in old Persian style. Beautiful silver jewelery with and without stones. Hand painted Indian cups. Warm and decorative blankets, shawls and scarves in cashmere wool.
