Every day at 6:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market fills with beautiful singing and a warm festive atmosphere as choirs from across the region take the stage at Torvet. On weekends, there are often extra concerts at 1:00 PM, featuring exciting performances for the whole family. Here, you can experience everything from traditional Christmas carols to fresh and modern choral music – the perfect accompaniment to a cup of mulled wine and some Christmas shopping.

This evening we welcome the Ukrainian amateur choir Korali, founded in 2022 and consisting of women from various regions of Ukraine – including Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Kyiv. Recently, two men have also joined the choir, which now helps share Ukrainian musical traditions here in Trondheim.

When the choir was formed, its members sought comfort and community in the longing for their homes and loved ones, and through song they express hope for peace in Ukraine. Korali brings warmth, emotion, and cultural expression to the stage.
