Every day at 6:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market fills with beautiful singing and festive cheer as choirs from across the region take the stage at Torvet. Experience everything from traditional Christmas carols to fresh and modern choral music – the perfect accompaniment to a cup of mulled wine and some holiday shopping. Stop by and let yourself be carried into the Christmas spirit with genuine choral harmonies at the heart of the city.

This evening, we’re joined by two wonderful choirs who bring warmth, joy, and musical quality to the stage.

Lydhør is a Trondheim-based vocal group consisting of women aged 20–60. They perform a varied repertoire across different genres, both a cappella and with musicians, spreading energy and joy wherever they sing.

Melhus Songlag is a mixed choir of about 30 singers from Melhus and Trondheim. They value musical quality and a strong sense of community, performing a wide range of music – from classical and folk to pop, jazz, ballads, and musical theatre.
