Every day at 6:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market fills with beautiful singing and warm holiday spirit as choirs from across the region take the stage at Torvet. On weekends and holidays, we often have additional concerts at 1:00 PM, featuring exciting performances for the whole family. Experience everything from traditional Christmas carols to fresh and modern choral music – the perfect accompaniment to your cup of mulled wine and Christmas shopping.

This concert features Musikalfabrikken, Trondheim’s musical theatre school for children and youth.

Nearly 600 children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19 receive weekly training in the three disciplines of musical theatre – singing, dancing, and acting. Musikalfabrikken stages grand musicals annually in Olavshallen. In November, they performed Shrek, and currently the beloved traditional family show JULESTEMNING is playing to full houses for the 35th year(!). In March, the youth will follow up with FAME.

Children from Musikalfabrikken also perform frequently in various settings, and today we welcome a group of children aged 5 to 9 who will perform three songs:
