Christel Alsos' Christmas concerts have become a tradition over the past ten years. Not only for the audience, but also for the artist herself, who in 2023 celebrated ten years since the album I den kalde vinter came out by releasing some new Christmas songs.

Christel Alsos says that she feels incredibly lucky to be able to come back to this music every year. The music that has in many ways become a tradition for the Fauskeværingen, part of her own Christmas celebration.

"Christmas concerts are so unique in how you gather much more broadly than at other times of the year, there are several generations, and there are more who may be outside my usual audience who come to a Christmas concert."

Christmas music and Christmas concerts give Christel motivation. The feeling that she contributes a small window into a safe and warm world, which only exists during the concert or when you listen to the music and indulge in the slightly special and magical that contributes to the indefinable Christmas atmosphere.

"I don't need to believe in Santa Claus to believe that Christmas has its own atmosphere and that for most people it is a time filled with good memories, togetherness and hope. Hope for a great time with those you love. Hope for the new year, for the future. Hope for both your world and the whole world."

With her on stage is Lisa Voldsdal Sørensen, Jo Berger Myhre and Andreas Löwe. And this eminent group is ready to give the audience the Christmas spirit again in 2025.
