For over 30 years, children and families have flocked to Olavshallen in December to experience this pleasant and child-friendly pre-Christmas gem of a musical theater performance.

For thousands of families, Christmas atmosphere has become as natural a part of the Christmas preparations as hanging up the Christmas tree and decorating the Christmas tree - for many, Christmas is not quite the same without Christmas atmosphere!

Christmas atmosphere addresses the heart of the Norwegian folk soul, and goes straight to the core of Norwegian folk beliefs. Because of course there is Santa Claus - both the one who lives at the North Pole, the one who lives in the forest and the one who lives in the barn! You just have to open up to the child in your heart and believe in Santa, and voila! he's there before you know it.

In the performance, we meet the children Tor and Helle who cut down the Christmas tree, make Christmas decorations and set out porridge for Santa. Because they are so excited for Christmas! And then, as if by magic, of course they meet the goblins, and complications and humor ensue…

The performance is played by two teams.
