Dresdner Kreuzchor: A powerful evening with world-leading guys!
The German boychoir comes to Nøtterøy Kulturhus to give us an a capella Christmas concert with 40 singers led by conductor Wolfgang Behrend.
Dresdner Kreuzchor is one of the world's oldest and most famous boys' choirs. With roots dating back to the beginning of the 13th century. More than 800 years later, the most important task is still the musical accompaniment of vespers and worship services in Dresden's Kreuzkirche. There the choir also regularly hosts concerts with outstanding sacred musical works. The repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to performances of contemporary works, concerts and in a number of recordings.
