His Majesty the King's Guard welcomes you to a Christmas concert in Ridehuset in Queen Sonja KunstStall!

The Guard's music will perform a Christmas repertoire that favours a wide range of music suitable for children and adults of all ages. The audience will experience traditional pieces such as Merry Christmas and Blessed is the Earth, as well as Christmas classics with a more swinging character. Everything is designed to help you find the Christmas spirit in the Garden's varied musical programme.

This year's programme consists of 76 young musicians with many talents. The audience will therefore be able to experience the janissary band, the signal band, choir singing and in-house soloists.

The concert is led by the Guard Band's conductor, Major Sverre Stakston Olsrud, and he is joined in the musical direction by the instructor for the Signal Corps, Staff Sergeant Lise Solberg Nilsen.
