“Jul på Trøndersk” is an ensemble that plays well-known and beloved Christmas songs in Trøndelag with its own twist. The band consists of four musicians from Trøndelag who met at the jazz school in Stavanger.
The band plays their own arrangements of everything from Hans Rotmo to Mitt hjerte alltid vanker. The instrumentation is vocals, electric guitar, piano/synth and trumpet, which gives the quartet a distinctive sound. The band played three concerts in Trøndelag during Christmas, including a sold-out concert at Antikvariatet in Trondheim. This year's tour spans five concerts in various nooks and crannies of Trøndelag, including Trondheim and Røros, as well as Oslo.
Come for atmospheric and beautiful interpretations in different soundscapes, and get into the Christmas spirit in a real Trøndelag way!
Lineup:
Maren Resell Sørheim: Vocals
Ole Martin Rosvold Haugen: Trumpet & buccaneer
Peder Rugelsjøen: Electric guitar
Torbjørn Säll: Piano & synth
