Thursday 28 December: The National Gallery and the Kristiania bohemians
The tour starts at the National Gallery with Edvard Munch and the bohemians of Kristiania represented a political and cultural movement at the end of the 19th century. In addition to criticize Norwegian Politics, they fought for women’s liberation and free love. The most famous bohemians were the author Hans Jæger, the painter and author Christian Krogh and his wife Oda.
