The combination course consists of a handbuilding part and a wheel throwing part.
It is spread over 3 weekdays and runs for 3+4 hours each day, with a two-hour break in between.
You can choose to take only one part or both. We work in small groups of 6–12 people. The course is primarily in Norwegian, but English or German is also no problem.

The course is well suited for beginners or those who have worked with clay before and want a refresher and more practice.

The handbuilding course is led by Famke, and the wheel throwing course is led by Franziska.
Throwing requires quite a bit of practice, so we have set aside a total of 12 hours with guidance.
In the handbuilding part, you’ll learn various techniques for building by hand – this part offers a lot of variety!
We also set aside time for decorating toward the end of the course – there are many exciting things to try out.
Once everything is fully decorated, the pieces will be given plenty of time to dry before the bisque firing.
Then we’ll meet again for glazing.

3-hour glazing course

1 trial month at Open Studio, incl. 5 kg of clay
