Daniela Reyes, despite her young age, can be seen as a pioneering figure for this new generation of folk singers. In 2021, she released the breakthrough single "Usikker musiker", followed by her debut album "Engangsdager". Here she received praise from a unanimous music press, who named her the best debutant of the year. She won the
Spellemannprisen in the category of Lyricist of the Year, and the album was also awarded with a bunch of good reviews.

This fall she released "La meg bli ditt gjemmested" via Jansen Rec, and received enormous feedback from both fans and critics.
