Twelve saboteurs on a fishing ship are surprised by German soldiers. Eleven men are being tortured and killed, only the twelfth man manged to survive. Shot in the foot, drenched and with gestapo in his heels, Jan Baalsrud escapes to the Northern Norway - completely unaware that his will to survive will soon make him a symbol of the Norwegian resistence movement. Jan Baalsrud's escape is still considered one of the most amazing stories from WWII.
