DirtnKøntri trail bike festival
Ofoten Fjellsportsklubb invites you to the #DirtnKøntri festival in connection with the annual Country festival in Kjeldebotn. We are looking forward to a weekend full of trail cycling, beer and good country music. The festival will be a mini-festival within the festival, where we have our own festival camp where we can grill and have a great time, while at the same time we can participate in the regular music festival. Participants at Dirt&køntri get a weekend pass at 50% of the original price. Provided that you bring a trail bike.

In 2021, the festival was organized for the first time. As in recent years, free cycling will be planned on Thursday, while there will be group cycling for those who want it on the other days. We are aiming for a workshop and other entertainment. There will also be photo competitions and other fun during the weekend aswell.
Most of the routes are nice, but some need to be cleared of debris and re-laid a bit. All help, before, during and after the festival is most welcome.
We plan to have organized cycling on several of the tours during the weekend, but people are of course welcome to explore the area themselves.

Festival area:
The festival area will be at Kjeldebotngård in the middle of the village. It will mainly be a tent camp with room for a few vans and campers. Contact us in advance so that we have an overview.
Camping costs 60 kroner per night.
Washing and charging:
There will be water available in the area for washing bikes.
For those of you who have taken a Dylan and switched to electricity, there will be a possibility for charging. Please let us know about this as well. Feel free to bring a skate cord yourself as well.
Trails:
There is a variety of trails in the area. Some are very marked, while others need to be fixed a little more. Most trails are pleasant flow trails, while some of the forest trails still need a final finish. The trails will be available via: https://trailguide.net/
Shop:
The village has a joker store that is open 24 hours a day. Feel free to use the store for your weekend shopping. Then everyone in the village will be happy.
