English Indian Students Forum - Trondheim (ISF) in collaboration with Transform - Trondheim World Music Festival are proud to present Diwali 2016 in Trondheim. We are back this year with an exciting line up of concerts and programs. As usual, we offer a traditional dinner included on your ticket. Follow this event for updated information.
The event is divided into two parts: Part 1: Workshops for Children and Familes Free entry. Experience a taste of indian culture with food workshops, dance worksops, indian painting, henna, language and many more activities! Part 2: Concert and Indian Dinner Open for everyone! Dhoad Gypsies have performed in over 1.100 concerts in 90 countries throughout the world within the last 15 years. They are considered the undisputed Cultural Ambassadors from Rajasthan. Dhoad were chosen to perform for the President of India in Jaipur, for the President of France, François Hollande, for Queen Elisabeth II for the Diamond jubilee celebration in London, and in a private concert for Mick Jagger, where they were appreciated by all. Come watch them live at Diwali 2016! And ofcourse, we close the evening with a delicious indian three course festive dinner.
