Jens and Skage are a newly formed duo originating from the jazz program in Trondheim. Their original music and playstyle are a fine blend of traditional jazz and contemporary influences. They strive for dynamic interplay, focusing on rhythm and exiting improvisations, always aiming to blend together as one.

Two musicians from different corners of Nordic jazz meet in the duo Tuva Halse/Morten Georg Gismervik! Based on both of their original compositions, the duo explores the sonic encounter between the acoustic and the electronic, as well as how elements from each other's genre backgrounds can be woven together.

Tuva Halse is an improvising violinist and composer from Molde. With a bachelor's degree from the Jazzlinja in Trondheim, she now lives in Oslo, where she is active in a number of different projects. Inspired by nature, relationships and human emotions, she composes music with improvisation at the center that is at the intersection of Nordic jazz, folk music and classical art music.

Audun Vinger says of Morten Georg Gismervik:
"He is exactly the guitarist Norwegian jazz needs at the moment – ​​sophisticated but also with a somewhat hairy 80s prog/fusion style that sits right in the fuse box" (Jazz in Norway 2023). Guitarist Gismervik is passionate about conveying stories through instrumental music.

Duende is a Swiss-Turkish duo that creates a captivating dialogue between two instinctive musical worlds. Their sound blends elements of classical traditions, Turkish folk melodies, jazz-infused electronics and free improvisation. This mixture forms a vibrant tapestry of ever-changing textures, striking contrasts and subtle harmonies. The result is a unique sonic creation that is delicately layered, both intricate and beautifully simple.
