Marcello and Jan Ivar have known each other from Trondheim's music scene for a number of years, and on 21 September they will finally share the stage at Habitat with their respective songs. Marcello Valerio is a singer/songwriter from Scotland raised in Telemark. Inspired by legends like Neil Young and Cohen, as well as newer artists like Rufus Wainright and Ben Howard. Under Dusken writes:

Jan Ivar Ekroll writes sweet, self-deprecating, funny and wicked shows about growing up. He has played the piano actively since childhood, but it damaged both his hands and psyche and put music on the shelf for several years. The rescue was to pick up Dad's acoustic guitar and start writing music that depicts small and large blinks of an eye in his stumbling journey through his twenties. The music is inspired by, among others: Nick Drake, Angelo de Augestine, Sondre Lerche, Sufjan Stevens, Adrianne Lenker, Joao Gilberto
