Exhibition; Søren Thilo Funder & Nástio Mosquito

In the exhibition hall, we present "Oceanic Horror or How to Survive the Night in the Haunted Mansion of Absolute Capitalism" by Søren Thilo Funder. The project deals with financial market forces, especially the role of machine learning in high-frequency trading. Invested in the temporal qualities and intricacies of the horror genre, the exhibition explores our current tempor(e)ality, and the use of the temporal as artistic material. In the exhibition, a multi-channel video installation has taken over the gallery space, bringing together computer-generated image sequences, filmed fiction, video field notes, applied special effects, a series of "sleep stations" assembled from office furniture, not to forget the dying art of stockbroker hand signals.
In the vault, we are thrilled to present the multimedia installation "Another Leader: Act II" by Nástio Mosquito. The Angolan artist is an established voice on the international art scene. The exhibition "Chat GPT and Tuva Mossin Curate Whispers in the Vault: Presenting Another Leader - Act II by Nástio Mosquito" will be the first-ever presentation of Mosquito in Norway.

A sound work will also be shown in our parabolic speaker in the entrance as part of our ongoing collaboration with Lydgalleriet (TBA).

The opening event on Friday the 21 at 6 PM is free and open to everyone.
