Exhibition with Hanne Tyrmi and Ulrich Vogl

It is with great enthusiasm that K-U-K presents the exhibition for The Unreliable Narrator, by Hanne Tyrmi (b. 1954) and Ulrich Vogl (b. 1973). This exhibition is in no way unreliable. It is a definite manifestation of quality, relevance, and historical documentation.

K-U-K has the pleasure of presenting entirely new works by Hanne Tyrmi. She has produced several incredible projects to fill our space. Intermingled with the new, we find older works put into new constellations, confirming her significant role in the Norwegian history of art. Tyrmi happily makes use of larger formats, where she chisels, hammers, saws, and builds herself. The rugged and the delicate, all shaped by her hands.

Coming from Germany, Ulrich Vogl, is a relatively more recent acquaintance of the Norwegian audience. Vogl works conceptually with materials and objects he encounters. He composes, through thoughtful installation, refined precision and the use of light, the objects into new and nuanced works.

The exhibition journeys through the intense and the subtle, through the concrete and the poetic. Tyrmi and Vogl have created a formidable exhibition, which will leave its visitors with a unique experience
