What do you do if you get separated from your mother?
A cub and his mother are looking for food. Suddenly they get separated from each other. The cub calls desperately for its mother, but gets no answer. He is all alone in the ice. An arctic fox will help.
Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 at Moholt Library
Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 pm at Buran Library
Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 am at Byåsen Library
More about the performance:
But what kind of animal is the cub, and who is his mother?
The cub does not know his name, only the song his mother usually sings to him. Sami children often get a joik when they are little, while children in Greenland often get a little song that is made up for them, as an extra name. Maybe we can also learn a
name song?
What is certain is that we will join the dramatic hunting trip, when author Beate Heide tells stories from her picture book, The Name Song. Musician Kari Hustad, narrates and she also teaches us the child's song. The picture book “The Name Song” is called “Nammalávlla” in Northern Sami and is available in both languages. Beate and Kari narrate in Norwegian.
The story time is suitable for anyone who has been scared, from the age of three.
