25 June, Caféteatret: Classical gems inspired by folk music

Fourth concert in the classical concert series Ferd at Caféteatret. 

Edvard Grieg's Vinjes songs, which includes the famous "Spring" and "At Rondane", is performed in its entirety by mezzo soprano Kari Dahl Nielsen and pianist Olga Jørgensen. The programme also includes Ysaÿe's dramatic sonata no. 2 for solo violin, performed by the Danish violinist Kirstine Schneider, and Bartók's reckless, folk-music inspired and virtuous piano sonata, performed by the young star Nikita Khnykin
