Festival youth day

​Talented young musicians, actors and dancers on stage all day.

It's the youngest stars who take centre stage for the Festival youth day. Pupils from schools of music and performing arts throughout Western Norway take over the Festival Square, eager to entertain.

Every hour on the hour – from 10:00 to 15:00 – there are performances by aspiring musicians, actors and dancers who have practiced and looked forward to this day for months.

The day features a wide variety of genres, from soloists and ensembles, with previous editions' programmes ranging from rock bands to classical gems, ballet, jazz dance and hip hop to theatre groups and much, much more.
