Welcome to the art exhibition "Figures in the Snow" by Tore Hansen. 

Tore Hansen expresses himself with painting, sculpture, installation and graphics.  As a graphic artist, he works with the woodcut technique.

In "Figures in snow" he exhibits graphics where he depicts Norwegian forests with motifs that have been the same from the Stone Age to now.  

With intensity and strong contrasts, he reproduces the people, the animals, the interaction between them and movement in nature. Tore Hansen creates art that is easy to understand, and which is enigmatic at the same time. 

The motif can easily be moose - and skiers - the hippest motifs in old rock art such as petroglyphs and cave paintings.
